I dislike the scaling of Arcane resist with low mana. Having high Arcane resist is explicitly useful when Disruption Shield explodes, at which point your mana bar is full. During the time that your mana bar is low, your resistance is often irrelevant, since you have Disruption Shield running.

Also, it means you can only use the provided resistance to qualify for Aether Permeation by casting to empty out your mana bar. IMHO that's inelegant.

Bonus spellpower for managing your manabar well is cool.



I don't like how Manathrust is so good at managing my Disruption Shield. I'd prefer if the stuff in the Aether tree got the +% mana depletion, and Manathrust was the boring fallback rather than the go-to most awesome tool.

The mechanic is interesting, but I'd rather see it on Aether Breach or Aether Beam or both.

Can you please update steam with your 'gamebreaking bug fix'? I just got hit by the boss in the abashed expanse for a manathrust doing 1400+ dmg. I found the update on the ToME addon page, but it looks like the one on steam hasn't been updated.

Arcane resist scales with CURRENT mana, not MISSING. You got it backwards.

Could you make a version with the 10 percent of mana as damage tweak since this means the end game boss murders you when it uses manathrust since it has 14,456 mana or so. If not can I make my own branch of this addon without the game braking mana drain and to mana damage tweak.

I'd recommend just capping the damage bonus at something sensible. Maybe make it only do up a max of 100% bonus damage or something, so that it won't just 1 shot you.

ya that sounds reasonable other tweaks are good but that tweak to manathrust is game breaking.
