I'm currently working on an addon that has a new zone and a new class. Would it be eligible, provided I achievement-locked the class behind completing the zone? Or maybe I should just disable the class until it's judged?
Addons: Arcane Blade Tweaks, Fallen Race, Monk Class, Weapons Pack
Currently working on Elementals. It's a big project, so any help would be appreciated. :)

I *might* do something similar (though it might be a race instead of a class), and I too was wondering if it would be acceptable. Basically if it's allowed to make a quest AND tie it to some other kind of content...

I'll allow it, but the quest itself must stand on its own merit, the class/race/whatever must be a bonus

About one month left, and we have 3 entries: http://te4.org/addons/tome?s=&tag=contest2014
A zone that unlocks a class, a new (sub)race with a quest + 3 zones (not 100% sure that fits the contest criteria) and a new Shalore zone.

I'm considering completely redoing the Wight area so it's a full quest other people can do and having the race be the unlock. Though I may do something else instead - we'll see :)

I'm submitting my thesis today, so I can continue working on mine this weekend.
New thaloren zone is almost done.

The addon contains one quest, which is linked to a new zone and independent of the gnome race ("Compile the Past"). Surely should fit the criteria if the lore isn't harmed. The second quest starts within another new zone and so isn't obtainable by a regular playthrough ("The Oyze") - so, debatable, if it fits the criteria.

So, I ended up not entering (simply did not think I could get my 'thing' done in a few days), but I was wondering - it's been a week since the 1st of December, is the voting going to start?

If the contest is officially delayed (so addons submitted now will count despite the previous '1 December start' date), it would be nice to know by how much ;)

So people know if it is 'worth it' to start coding or not.
Of course, even if one cannot join the contest more quest addons are always good!

('delayed a little' makes me think you mean just a few days, though).

Seems the contest end date is today; have been too busy with other things to get Wights into proper contest shape so seems I will not be joining, but I look forward to seeing who the winners will be :)
