More bad stuff, addon seems to apply random class to chronoclones, which backfires horribly with Vulcus (whcih assigns prodigies to random classes, apparently?)

I don't think it is vulcus-related since I had the Wordly Knowledge popup when an anomaly created a temporal clone and I am not running Vulcus. Since the game treats temporal clones (as opposed to fugue clones) as independent elite-tier units, they get the extra classes and skills, presumably including prodigies.

However, unlike your experience I was able to make a selection from the menu, allowing me to continue the game without force-quitting or crashing out. Not sure if that may change in the future.

I just fired off another updated version of this awesome mod to StarKeep. I went through and updated all the mod's files with any changes between the 1.2.5 and 1.3.1versions. This ought to fix all bugs introduced in the update. I did some testing with a high level character causing anomalies and was able to get many clones without ever causing a problem. Hopefully StarKeep will have some free time soon to look at my changes and post them.

Honestly, I've pretty much stopped making anything addon related recently.

That does mean the re-coding is pretty much on Hiatus.
For those curious how far it got before it hit that point, it got to enemy spawning, and loot control.

For the sake of peeps, I'll upload his fixes, but for the future, you'll be better off forking it instead of waiting for my lazy butt.
(A bonus to forking of course means you get your own creative control. :wink: )

Any chance you could put what you've gotten done on the rewrite up somewhere? I dunno if I'm gonna do much either way but if I do I'd rather use the new codebase.

Being a heavy w.i.p., I'm gonna have to decline. As it was being made in a way to allow me to continue adding onto it, it has too many open-ends.

I managed to mess up the version StarKeep so kindly uploaded by leaving out my original fixes for the character sheet. I went ahead and uploaded a fork of the addon with the fix included. You can grab it here: Everything is Unique! Fork. Hopefully it really is all fixed this time and I didn't mess something else up.

not working.

i had used the original that made everything unique but stopped because of bugs like the character screen.

i got this fork one and tried it as the only addon (plus the race i am making) and it should be making everything unique, is set to, custom spawn rate of 1, yet they are all rank normal 2, rank critter 1, and no classes added. I'm in infinite dungeon at the moment. tried several games and its just this way. and they are like Elven Guard and so forth, originals, not clones or summons.

i do not see a lua error in the log.

It seems that you can't play Ogre when Added Difficulties is active

Would you mind exposing the XP boost as a configuration parameter so I can tweak how fast or slow my character levels up?

I really like the addon's basic concept, but I don't like leaving Yeek Island as a level 20 character.

I've actually been hammering at this again recently to try and make it stomp all over everything a bit less add more configuration options. I don't think adding an xp option should be hard.

Let me know if you need help testing & debugging.

This is one of the addons that makes the game non-tedious enough to play, so I'm eagerly awaiting a 1.4 version.

Gave this a short try, but yeah, it's at least somewhat broken on 1.4 (Char sheets explode).
ToME Tips - auto-generated spoilers for ToME. - someone else made. I find super awesome, so spreading as well.
