i think it would be interesting to have a pony race like earthpony/unicorn/pegasus or something like this in the game.

I think if you want something this niche, you probably need to do it yourself. ;P Good news is lua is pretty easy to learn.
(Anyway, Earth Ponies are basically just cornac, Unicorns are higher...)

So, sorry about necroing a really old post from 5 years ago. But since I have just learned Lua, I might as well give it a shot (as soon as I have a schedule to work with in the first place...). Though can someone point me to the modding documentation so that I can get this started?

I'm bored out of my mind, MLP:FiM just ended, and still after all these years, no one bothered to make a mod like this? How preposterous! I'll freaking make it work with the power of friendship and rainbows! Now who's with me!?!

Yeah... Apart from this cringe worthy quote, it's been that long since the game is released, and I'm pretty sure that the furrae mod was not enough for the variety or the weirdness that this might bring. I'll see the components in order to get this started, though I may also need some people to work with.

there... isn't really documentation.

all the code can be opened and read with a regular unzipping program like winrar, though, and its pretty easy to learn by copy, paste, and minor changes.
