Psionic Maelstrom is granted by the Kinetic/Thermal/Charged Focus item set and is not related to this addon at all.

Oh! Igot caught up in the “passives” coming from the class and overlooked what was coming from other sources. Sorry to bother you with this.

The fatigue is, but that's honestly pretty true for near everyone interested in using it except fairly niche builds (I think the only time I've actually considered it for the fatigue lock is for comboing with the range amp). Where it's sexy for 'em is paired with either superpower or pain enhancement system. Causes a fairly significant damage spike across the board... superpower probably more consistently, but PES is forever a face wrecker and hefty defense boost as well, and being a will/cun class means you end up critting all the things forever so PES is as up as it can get these days.
Been a while, but after a little bit I've realized the power. ICCTW! is great for two-handers in particular and Harbringer is big on that.

Superpower and/or PES rule the roost either way though. This is somewhat similar to Oozemancer in that there are different benefits to both (especially if you're using mindstars with either one, you have a huge WIL boost plus Psiblades to your gear stats and will do huge damage on crit which is everywhere). It's tempting to run Meteoric Crash too, but it might be hitting in front of you 99% of the time which could be bad.
