I thought I fixed that with the last update. I'll take a look into it.

Edit:

As far as I can tell, this error is gone in the most recent version. The code for all of the talents now matches, and I did a quick test run just to make sure. Check to make sure your version is up date. If it is, let me know, and I will investigate further.

I hadn't noticed that there was an update, and you're right, I didn't have the most recent version. I had 1.05 instead. Sorry for sending you on the run-around like that!
Let slip the toast of war.

No worries. It's nice to know folks are interested enough to give it a go and leave feedback, even if it ends up being redundant :)

v1.0.7
---
[Learning]
Added Beyond the Flesh to the list of excluded talents, as it is not unlearnable and requires Telekinetic Grasp to function.
Note that BtF and TK Grasp are still both still learned automatically when learning most Mindslayer talents, as usual.

I'd consider excluding non-unlearnable talents entirely. It's hard to think of a situation where I'd actually want to learn one, other than learning Unnatural Body in order to unlock the Cursed Aura tree (which is something of a degenerate case).

Spacetime Tuning is similar to BtF in this regard, by the way.

I'll add Spacetime Tuning, thanks for that.

I had considered excluding them originally, but decided for the sake of maximum variety to allow them. Honestly, I have not inspected each world-altering talent in turn, so I can't really make a blanket statement as to whether or not they are worth the investment. Learning a talent is always optional and there is a bright red warning in the dialog if the talent can't be unlearned.

Here's a list:
Agile Defense
Armour Configuration
Attack

Bind Demon (Ashes)
Buckler Training
Chemistry
Command Staff
Create Alchemist Gems
Crippling Poison
Cunning Tools
Dark Gifts
Electricity
Empty Hand
Equilibrium Pool
Explosives
Extract Gems
Feedback Pool
Fire a blast of energy
Gem Golem
Grappling Stance
Grisly Constitution
Hate Pool
Heavy Armour Training
High Planetary Orbit
Hunted!
Imbue Item
Insidious Poison

Intricate Tools
Jumpgate Two
Jumpgate Two: Teleport To
Jumpgate: Teleport To
Knowledge of the Past
Knowledge of the Way
Leeching Poison
Lichform
Mana Pool
Master Artificer
Mechanical
Necrotic Aura
Negative Pool
Numbing Poison
Paradox Pool
Positive Pool
Psi Pool
Refit Golem

Unnatural Body
Vim Pool
Volatile Poison
Vulnerability Poison
Warp Mine Away
Warp Mine Toward
Writ Large

All anomalies
All inscription talents
All traps

Most of these talents are not intended to be directly learned at all. The non-passive ones that can be directly learned are Bind Demon, Extract Gems, Imbue Item, Lichform, Re-assemble, and Writ Large. Of these, Re-assemble and Writ Large are racials and Lichform never appears on NPCs (unless there's a bug) so they're already against Sholtar rules.

So you're just left with Bind Demon, Extract Gems, and Imbue Item for "legitimate" no_unlearn_last active talents.

The passive ones that can be directly learned are Agile Defense, Buckler Training, the tinker talents, the Artifice talents, Dark Gifts, Gem Golem, Grisly Constitution, Heavy Armour Training, Reshape Weapon/Armour, Runic Golem, Solipsism, Stoneshield, and Unnatural Body. You're not going to get Agile Defense, Buckler Training, the tinker talents, Dark Gifts, Gem Golem, Runic Golem, or Stoneshield to appear on NPCs without a lot of contrivance (like winning an AoA character with them and then playing Embers with the same addons enabled so that you fight them in the temporal distortion). Grisly Constitution is a racial so it's out too.

So that leaves Artifice talents, Heavy Armour Training, Reshape Weapon/Armour, Solipsism, and Unnatural Body.

I submit that learning Heavy Armour Training, Extract Gems, or Imbue Item via Sholtar racial is not worth it. But I do admit that learning an Artifice talent could be cool and worthwhile.
