Re: Draconians! (Fixed by Aura of the Dawn)
The 'quest line' such as it is, currently, is just a way for the game to track and assign the amulet drop, so that you can acquire your form. That's all there is to it, currently. Originally, a mid-level zone was planned, like tranquil meadow, but ajfluffy never made that before leaving us. I may well tie a similar zone into an unlock for the second subrace (I have a few ideas of using it to set up the existence of the aforementioned subrace), as well as to give the player a chance to fight against draconian enemies. (Or at least, npc versions that mimic the appearance and talents of draconians). A late-game high level area might also be a possibility, with some sort of benefit and/or bonus for completion, but is far off in existence, even if I can come up with ideas for it. (The most likely benefit might be some alteration of your ultimate form, as well as an excuse to fight various ultimate-form draconians, both blighted and standard.)

Whimsical request:
Right now, you can't use custom tiles with Draconians as they'll be overwritten, so you'll be using the dragon-man look no matter what after dungeon 1. It'd be great if there was an option (or it didn't overwrite if it saw Custom_tile).

So you want to pick a donator custom tile, but it's overwriting it with your draconian tile after you use the necklace and pick a form? Hmmm. I'll see what I can do about that. A toggle option if nothing else would work, though it'd be nasty and dirty.

thanks for clearing that up!

Re: Draconians! (Fixed by Aura of the Dawn)
Yup, that was precisely it. Ended up just overriding that bit, but would be nice.Crim, The Red Thunder wrote:So you want to pick a donator custom tile, but it's overwriting it with your draconian tile after you use the necklace and pick a form? New version Pimp My Draconian, and Steam Version has been released, custom tiles are now no longer overwritten when you choose a form. I remained Urkis after gaining a form, am not aware of any problems with it. Enjoy!Dracos wrote:Yup, that was precisely it. So on my edit, I ended up getting stuck in Dragon Form later in the game after using it once.
Looking at the change that was made, it seems fairly likely the updated version might end up with a similar issue (No old moddable tile to go back to).

Umm... You mean you ended up stuck in your regular dragonform? I didn't ever see that one. Or do you mean you ended up stuck in the ultimate dragon form from 'inner power' later on?

Re: Draconians! (Fixed by Aura of the Dawn)
I got stuck in the ultimate dragon form (The one you get after getting like 12ish points in dragon racials and using dragon power). I think the current mod has the same vulnerability, where since you have a custom tile, it doesn't define a moddable one, so the dragon power has nothing to go back to.
But I may be misreading.

Re: Draconians! (Fixed by Aura of the Dawn)
I'll look into this, but it'll probably be a harder fix if that's the case. Unless I flat disabled the dragon tile replacement on ultimate if you have a custom tile, but I'm assuming you'd prefer to have the visual impact of your status, and then expire back to your chosen custom tile?

Yeah, pretty much.
I mean it wouldn't be too bad losing ultimate form, but it's unfortunate.

Re: Draconians! (Fixed by Aura of the Dawn)
Couple of minor spelling/grammar things,
First off, shouldn't it be Lazuli, not Lasuli? That's what the actual gemstone is called.
Less importantly; on Dream Body (and maybe other body talents), when it gives a critical rate, shouldn't it say 'increases critical chance by X%', rather than 'increases critical chance by X'?
Edit: Oh hey, I found an actual (minor) bug. Draconian Temporal Warden. The time spider dropped the necklace, so that worked fine, but the Troubled Dreams quest still says to explore the trollmire. Even though I beat Shax.

Re: Draconians! (Fixed by Aura of the Dawn)
Just a question not sure if this has been answered elsewhere but, why is it that the draconians can't be used with the afflicted classes?
EDIT: I meant defiler.

Re: Draconians! (Fixed by Aura of the Dawn)
Because the original modder said so, mostly.
The IC reason is that Draconians are linked to dragons, which are heavily nature-based. Blight magic is abhorrent to them.
That said, unless he changed his mind in the last few months, Aura is working on an expansion that'll be right up your alley.
