I'm having a lot of trouble working out how persistent zones (ala Kor'Pul or Trollmire) are added to the game. I've sort have gotten to the idea that persistent ones need to be specifically called out on the game's Map instance, while others (like Ancient Elven Ruins) are added in via the encounter files. I also get that Map.addSpot is used by the game's Map instance to register each zone entrance. But then my head starts hurting.
Can someone point me to an addon where someone gets this right? I'm not having much luck searching the addon archive on my own.
