Ok so about 1/3 of the pack has been completely redone! Here's a folder compare for OldRPG for 1.0.1 and the current unreleased version:
This doesn't include the UI or talent icons, just everything in the oldrpg folder (npc, player, terrain, etc). There are actually about 1300 more png files that aren't listed hehe
But I'd have to say it's a good progress report!

Just FYI, I love this tileset. It's fun, and _so_ much clearer to use than Shockbolt's set. It's the first thing I put on after a reinstall of Tome.

That's an impressive amount of work.
I'd like to be able to legally do a let's play of ToME with this tileset using a copyleft license. I see you're going through and removing all the derivative stuff, which is awesome. What I'd like to know is if you have any plans to license your art under any kind of copyleft (GPL, Creative Commons, BSD, CC0)? I think you more than deserve to be paid for your efforts. I think ransoming your work (pay me X and I'll set'er free) might be a good strategy. The audience for this game does include quite a few people who feel strongly about open source and copyleft.

Yes, it works with 1.0.4, but there are just a few missing sprites from some of the new/alt bosses. But it still looks great, and is a nice change of scenery.

Just started a new game in 1.0.4. UI changed but everything else seems to be the same. Any ideas?

Select Graphic Mode from your escape menu, in game (doesn't show on the main menu), and click select style. It should pop up in the list.

I really admire this tileset, it makes all the game look different and keeps me playing more than I could expect. Btw, what is a progress for 1.0.4 version?

Any chance of an update for 1.0.5? The new grass tiles are all showing up as green dots on a black field. Also, where would I look to customize the look of a character? (If that's possible.)

No folder name... Just download the teaa into your addons folder (/tome/game/addons) and make sure it's turned on ingame from the addons menu. (If you're currently playing a character, turning on new addons will not affect old characters, only ones made AFTER they are turned on.)
Once that's done, you open your menu, and there's an option about choosing the graphics in the tileset. Do so, and choose 'oldrpg' instead of 'shockbolt' (the default set). Once you do this, your game will load again, with the new graphics.

Is old RPG not working for anyone else in 1.0.5? I'm getting several blank tiles.
