Darkwood UI (merged with oldrpg)

#1 Post by daftigod »

OBSOLETE, merged with OldRPG: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=31310

Hey there! I made a new skin for ToME that uses the new minmalist UI with beta 38. I was originally including it with the download for oldRPG but recently decided to separate the UI from the pack for diversity. It's pretty complete for what I had in mind, replacing almost all of the menu an window background with a transparent dark wooden texture.

To install, just drop the .teaa file into your T-Engine\game\addons folder. That's all there is to it! It should show up as soon as you Click new player or Load player from the main menu.

If you prefer the original UI from beta 38 of ToME, just disable this addon from the main menu! Thanks for checking it out!

uploaded to the addon section :) thankyou to darkgod again!

also, please let me know if there's any problems! i don't know if the md5 checksum is right, i got it through some stupid microsoft tool that made it feel like i was running linux with the command prompt and all that jazz

side note, unfortunately oldrpg is too big for the tome4 site (5mb max). the latest version is up around 22mb just for the tiles!

Get the md5 from te4log.txt when running it in teaa form on your pc. No idea if it'll match the m$ one.

It's beautiful!

And yes, I do play TOME on a widescreen from across the room.

As a side note, I think my optometrist is going to kill me one day.
