YAVP! Cornac Cursed - Normal Adventure [1.4.6]

I wanted to check if my guide still worked before I started updating it properly. It does, for the most part-- but I did do one major change, and that was putting Reckless Charge to 3 early. Oh maaaaaan it helps a lot more than I remember, I honestly don't know why I underrated it so badly. Anyways, on to the interesting things that happened, which wasn't much:

[*] Seriously, Reckless Charge to 3 at minimum is NICE. Try to get it early.

[*] I also tried Iron Acorn over Cold Iron Acorn. The former... is actually quite handy. I don't know if it was just me or not, but status effects on Gloom seemed to proc better. Plus the physical resistance actually helps a lot as well.

[*] This otherwise followed my Repel-Predator-Elemental Harmony build. EH is still mediocre (to the point that it was only worth it after having saved 10 points for it and grabbing it only after my fifth infusion) but it's good enough for Normal/Adventure.

[*] I ended up going sword-and-board despite wanting to go 2handed because I needed the Blinding Immunity and Fire Resistance on Summertide.

[*] My infusions were 2x Regeneration, 2x Healing, and 1x Shielding. The Shielding was useful, but also the easiest to switch out for something else. That said, with Ethereal Embrace, I didn't regret having it.

[*] It's so nice having equipment flexibility as a non-AM Repel Cursed. I could probably kit myself out as AM Cursed but honestly I like having all my loot at my fingertips.

[*] Avoided the Destruction Orb boss again out of habit, but the other three went down pretty easily.

[*] Died five times. First was to stupidity on my part (forgot what), second time was to Shade of Talos (he's a bit like Urkis-- don't go in without Cold resistance or you will die swiftly and immediately), third time was to a High Peak stair guardian (might have to do with how I died the fourth time...), fourth time was screwing around with no Blight resistance on High Peak (getting taken down from near 1350 health to nothing by two mobs including an Orc caster is no joke, so I slapped on the Blackened Plate I had right before resurrecting), and fifth time was to Elandar...

[*] ... Funny story about the Elandar death. I was mostly soloing him just fine but noticed I wasn't healing properly-- just thought it was a new patch thing. Wasted more turns than I should have by using Regeneration when I should have been attacking, and right when I'm about to kill him on the final hit I somehow get wedged between him and Argoniel. My hit misses and I go down from near full health to nothing in no time flat. As for the healing, well, it turns out, I didn't Transmogrify the Goedalath Rock that I gained from the last High Peak floor. Nearly lost the final battle because of it, and completely failed to get the best ending due to Aeryn dying. Was forced to close the portals, but thankfully a demon started spamming darkness everywhere, so I was able to comfortably take out Elandar without getting Argoniel's attention even after Aeryn died. If the Goedalath Rock hadn't been in my inventory, that battle would have been much easier than it ended up being.

[*] ICCTW is GREAT for switching stuff out in the Eidolon Plane to adjust to what exactly killed you.

I plan to update my guide for 1.4.6 sometime in the near future.

Game is still one of the best I've ever played, though I hope DarkGod gets done with the Naga campaign soon because I ain't interested in playing Orcs.

I have a few questions, though:

[?] Where the heck are all the Ogre Cursed? I thought that combo was the new hotness, but since 1.4.6's release it's been mostly Cornac.

[?] Is Surge still king? Seems to have the lion's share of winners when I checked the Vault.
