Shalore Doombringer hit 30

I just hit 30 on my shalore staffbringer. Not sure what prodigy to get. I have items on hand that will get me to 50 in strength, magic, or cunning, and I think also in will. I don't have enough gear for constitution, I don't think.

I don't qualify for Cauterize yet, although obviously I could go farm it with self-nukes. I normally wouldn't go arcane might on a doombringer because you really don'y get a huge number of weapon hits compared to something like a warden, and because it doesn't improve proc damage. However, I'm using the plague sceptre right now, so most of my damage is coming from my fire-type weapon damage. It's also nice and simple.

Irresistable Sun just looks like a lot of fun. I know I don't need another crowd-sweeper, but it looks like it should do over 1000 damage to a boss in melee? Would flex combat give me more damage than arcane might?

Elemental surge: Since my weapon does fire damage (not fire procs) does that mean I can trigger this off an autoattack? Does it go on cooldown on my first crit, or only once the 30% chance to clear statuses is rolled? Will it go on cooldown even if I don't have any statuses to clear? I have 25% crit right now, so this would probably not be worth it anyway...

Unbreakable Will is also tempting me. The fact that it's not controllable is scary, but I need a way to deal with silences and I don't have a mental wild. Right now I have a heat beam, a heal, and the rune of reflection. When I get my next slot I could put in a gale rune, but I already have a good phase door and a heroism stashed away. (I'm wearing a voidwalker cloak)

I'd go Cauterize. Doesn't take very long to farm by setting yourself on fire for a while, and oneshot protection is always great especially as Doombringer isn't great defensively.
