Failed Bulwark, but pretty close to a win

So, I died, in the vor armory to my own inner demon I was stuck in last stand trying like hell to heal myself enough to get out but just couldn't. :(

Any advice on my build is much appreciated.

I died to the corrupt oozmancer 3 times, 1 time before that, in the far portal once, in Gushnak(?) pride and one other time I don't remember.

This is the furthest I've made it and I do have a piece of advice to any newbies (like me) out there. Focus on what you're doing, what stats do, what moves do, what creatures do and what creatures are around you. 2 of my deaths were avoidable however I was getting bored and ended up not paying attention and trying to move too quickly through mobs. Before this, that's happened several times however I made it so far on this character because I took it a bit slower and instead of lasting me one night or 2 days I spent 4 days on this Bulwark and while I'm upset I invested so much time in him just for a death, I'm happy that I made it further than ever before on Normal difficulty.

I have no idea how people go through insane and harder and get win. XD

Probably playing a reaver next, though I unlocked several new classes, so I may go back and see what I got. Was really hoping for an oozmancer cause I hear they're OP but I couldn't beat him and didn't want to waste another life trying, I was going to go back after I beat the last boss.

For what it's worth from a one-time-winner who used Bulwark, I think your points build looks fine. You had mobility talents, you had good defences against everything, you had the good Bulwark damage talents; you should have been set for victory.

It's kinda ironic that you died 3 times trying to unlock a class that could win the game easily, because you were already playing one! I'd keep your eyes on the prize a bit more; judging by where you died at lvl 49, you would have hit level cap well before the official end-game fight.

Other than that, you died getting mobbed a few times, but your inscriptions don't include any teleports or movement infusions and you don't have a psychoportation torque. My main advice is that you need to have, and make use of, eject buttons, even as a tank character. Bulwarks yawn at most of the game, but certain situations are absurdly more dangerous than the regular ones you face. Run with your tail between your legs, regroup, return for revenge (served hot or cold). In particular, don't return to difficult optional challenge areas like Sludgenest where you've died already until you have levelled up a lot or have a win with the character and have nothing more to lose.

Edit: oh and it's cheap but if you swap to non-shield weapon set when your double gets created, it is useless at fighting. That's how I cheesed my way through that battle.
