After little success with Cornacs I picked up Dwarf instead for the extra toughness, and made quite an offensive build. It was quite a pleasure to wipe out a room of ~30 nagas in the end with Obliterating strike and about ten bump attack later, triggering powerful Incinerating blows and generally carving a path of smoldering destruction left and right. I even neglected the 1.2.5 update, as word foes that Doombringers are to be nerfed, and I wanted to grab a win while they were OP

The highlight of Doombringer's arsenal is, IMHO, Abduction. Pretty much a reverse Rush (bringing the enemy to you instead of the other way) with much more damage and without dazing the target on the other hand. This allows for much easier picking of fights, and combined with Rush and Detonating Charge this grants both serious mobility and offense.
The final fight was pretty much a breeze - with all those disabling effects at my disposal and quick offense the wizards were barely able to scratch me at all.
Well, that's my second win on Normal (first was Halfling Brawler). Perhaps I'm ready to try and tackle Nightmare (at least, after I try the Demonologist class)
