First Atamathon… and it was a doozy.

I played a Lichform Necromancer (originally a Higher) and managed to die only once, against - Massok the Dragonslayer (he kills my mages a lot).

It was a normal game until lvl 37 in which I picked up a bunch of crazy gear. A lot of darkness damage and darkness penetration and magic stat and spell crit boosts.

Ultimately, Invoke Darkness was doing 800 damage and Rigor Mortis was doing 1000. That's nearly twice what it normally does at game's end. This encouraged me to take a stab at Atamathon for fun and I beat him, at lvl. 39. I was using the Star Fury second skill to heal as I had huge darkness affinity (57%).

I've never even come close to beating him before (I once took him to about a third of his life with an aether mage) and this was fairly easy… he died in 12 turns maybe (?).

By the time I was at lvl 50, Invoke Darkness was doing 960 damage and Rigor Mortis was doing 1300 or just under, I can't recall but it was slightly less than Impending Doom.
