Changes to my nightmare winning build:
- took second movement infusion instead of poison and mental tyranny instead of steamroller and maxed misdirection.
- I thought about taking the fungustree, but didnt find a extraordinary Reg infusion, and all in all im not sure, if its worth it on insane.
-Stealth broke very often in the end, while beeing essential before. Nevertheless, the high investment of 1 cat point and 20 skillpoints isnt really worth it on insane. Having only played stealthy chars so far, all my play routines and reactions are based on stealth and i felt pretty endangered in the end. at least Hide in Plain sight and Snap and starting with movement infusin provided some burst dmg when needed. It might be a better option to take poison/fungus/Harmony instead
-i havnt found great mindstars, so i used money to craft 2 ( which totally sucked ) and pumped str to 60 for some more dmg. i used vault just once to get myself the tier3 mindstar psionic fury to get started with mindstars around lvl 25.
Unfortunatly i used it till the end of game in lack of better alternatives... Finding good mindstars is still much harder then daggers and really limits mindstar builds. A mindstar shop in far east would make things easier.
Escorts:
-no mindsear

>>Always use track on insane, you want to know there are 2 uniques and 3 rares in that room before entering.
Fighting order:
Usualy i activated all buffs, sneaked in the middle of mobs with movement infusion, started with windblade, and burned the rest down with speed and momentum. I backed out with movement if fight turned out bad.
Uniques: (most dangerous enemies on insane....)
-kill adds first/ Lure uniques away. Retreat and prepare if Unique is really dangerous (equip and buffs)
-Combination of slow (on melee hit items +cripple+thorn grab) and speed and evasion (duck and dodge, trained reactions and leaves tide) prooved very effective. They have no time to use many of their deadly attacks and if they do there was a high chance of missing. Throw in a well timed stun/disarm (windblade)/silence and most fights are won without the necessity to retreat.
-Last fight was extreme tense. I burned down the first mage in a breath, but wasnt able to kill the other one fast, like i usually do on nightmare. So after nearly dying depleted of stamina and life, i closed the portals and started a long attrition battle, which i finally won.
Yeah well thats it, Have fun all
