I started focusing on Cursed Aura pretty early -- the stat boosts help out quite a bit in the early game. Found a +0.28 Cursed Aura mastery amulet that allowed me to eventually stack Shrouds to 7.7 and get 33% resist all from moving or killing something. Added to a 21% base res all, that's pretty useful. For longer fights, I ended up dancing to keep the res all up: hit, sidestep, hit, sidestep, etc. Adding 60% damage reduction from Ruined Earth is even nicer.
Used the Blood of Life (thanks, Bill) when stupidly opening a Dreadfell L1 vault and not paying attention to how hard the shadows were hitting...
The one real pain was the stun/freeze/disarm debuffs, especially in a High Peak vault with resurrecting armoured skeleton warriors. Strange thing, though. Char sheet shows 100% stun resist, but strangely I was regularly getting stunned/flameshocked/frozen.
Used the Respec Anywhere addon so I could keep floating one point in Combat Accuracy and one in Weapons Mastery until I was able to buy mindstar mastery. Got Elixirs of Focus and Foundations, and never really felt pinched for points. Cat points went to Rampage, Cursed Aura, and Fungus.

You would have picked up the Pearl of Life and Death which gives stun resist when you carry it.
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

Ach, that's it. I hadn't equipped any stun resistant items, so I only had the 49% from Relentless. The 0% Disarm resistance was even more silly.
