2nd win: Shalore staff reaver, Irresistible Sun

(First winner was a Yeek summoner -- seemed a bit cheesy, and I felt bad forcing the Way onto everyone...)

I've been running this char on and off for quite a while (yeah, it's 1.1.3). Turned out to be pretty powerful in the end.

Two deaths: headless horror in Lake Nur (CL15), and ambushed by multiple rares in Ardhungol (CL31 - slept by a solipsist and didn't run away fast enough).

With Telos' Top and a bloodlich randart staff, I had +100% blight damage, 91% crit, and 235% crit mod going into the Sanctum at CL48 (nearly 49). Irresistible Sun, Molten Skin, and the Fiery Choker gave great secondary fire damage, and dragging enemies into staff-bonking range is nice, too.

Final battle went something like this:
1) Heroism, Grace of the Eternals, Shielding, Irresistible Sun, Virulent Disease on Elandar, Timeless, VD on Elandar again, gloves of dispersion on Elandar
2) Vimsense
3) Dark Portal on the sorcerers
By this time, Elandar had all three diseases and Argoniel had one
4) Epidemic on Elandar
5) Catalepsy
At this point, Elandar was almost gone -- one Drain, and he's dead and I'm at CL50

A Bone Grasp, Soul Rot, Rend, VD and a melee strike or two took care of Argoniel. Neither Aeryn or I were ever less than 90% health. Nothing had a chance to come out of the portals.

Sadly, I had been a few clock ticks slow in the Charred Scar, so one of us had to die -- selfishly, I wanted to visit the mural museum, so I talked Aeryn into it.

Didn't do the Room of Death until after the Sanctum, but Irresistible Sun and diseases made that pretty quick, too. Found Limmir's scroll in the room. Should have done it before Charred Scar, so I could use it (or should have been faster in Charred Scar).

I'm not sure about chooising Endless Woes for the second prodigy, but nothing else seemed to stand out very much, either. Maybe Corrupted Shell or Temporal Form?

Now for my first try at Atamathon (curse the Way!). Any suggestions?

You may still be able to use it. Try accessing GoM from the spider cave portal, it worked for me, not once but twice IIRC. But if it doesn't, don't blame me if you can't go back to West .

Aha. That works, thanks. I already figured out how to get back West through the Sanctum.
