Toxic Seahorse the Oozemancer has been having a fairly decent run in the ID. In fact, my best yet. But I'm to the point I'm really not sure what I want to do with the character. Specifically, I have most of the abilities I really consider useful, and am not sure what else could theoretically add to the characters survivability. I'm also stumped on second prodigy choices for it (con/wil/cun will be available.)
Anyone have any real advice on this? I've certainly gotten to like all the meat shields my mitosis bloated ooze and mucus ooze provide me with, and I built around getting the mucus ooze extra attacks with unstoppable nature. Is it worth purchasing corrosive blades to get an extra acid attack (corrosive beam) for more nature weakening from the oozeblades tree? (Currently, only a melee hit from my bloated ooze when I use Call of the Ooze and Acid splash can trigger that. A third might be decent.) Am I better off with Fungus? (And frankly, is Fungus even necessary?) I get 14 EQ back a turn when standing on mucus, which is almost CONSTANT, courtesy of that radius one spread. Autocasting it and call of the ooze (both when no enemy in sight) is providing me with a hefty defense of constant oozes, and the mucus ooze can even spit through me (Why can't flamespitters do that! That'd be the world's biggest summoner buff) an the 50% damage reduction on demand from the bloated oozes, and all with constant EQ reduction to minimum levels when I autoexplore. I really only have to worry about EQ in extremely long fights. (Only time I've failed badly with EQ was fighting Vor and the Abomination at the same time in a vault.)
Any build advice would be appreciated.
