Take a look, and feel free to figure out all the overpowered things about this Doomed. I'd say he was unkillable, but Atamathon proved me wrong there. Not the right character for him, but nonetheless...

This guy beat the final two bosses in about 30 turns, maybe even a few less. I thought for sure my power would go down a bit once I hit these guys, but I was still crit'ing them for nearly 2k. At one point, I hit one with a Hateful Whisper, and it crit'd about 8 enemies for 1500 damage, including the two bosses. This was, without a single doubt, the most powerful character I've played. I breezed through everything after level 20, actually.

As powerful as this build is, I think it was because of the cohesion of the whole thing. My Shadows were excellent, and I definitely enjoyed that extra cat point in there for a fourth one. Even though most of the Doomed's Force of Will skills are short-range, I could either Blast (which has a LARGE radius) or I could cast darkness and move really fast towards someone, with almost no threat to myself. I had GREAT equips (look at those rings!) and it was the first time I've used actives on items as part of my main repertoire.

Doomed skill's are also pretty flexible. Creeping Darkness in particular is great for several situations. I could use it either as an initiator or an escape (which I did about ONCE, because I never needed to run) and I had enough status effects to really shut down enemies.

The final bosses were really a joke for this guy. I Mana Clash'd the caster twice and he was completely shut down, I continued to just pound him into submission with ease. The Reaver didn't even touch me, barely Aeryn either, it was just getting blasted around so hard.

I died once.....but I blame pander. :P I was going through water and paying too much attention to the chat, and didn't notice I drowned....heh, oh well, I will count it as a roguelike win and you should too! :P All of my lives quickly dropped in the presence of Atty though.

What was your biggest problem against Atamathon? Not enough resists? Having to get too close to deal damage?

Getting too close, I think. He also didn't want to take the bait of my shadows either, for some reason. He just wanted to finish me.

Doomed, as of current, basically get decent weaker versions of another class' game...but have multiple games. They have a higher investment version of Corruptor's critical game, with less payoff and less range. They have good but highly unreliable/high investment summons, meaning they're sort of a summon class but sort of not; while powerful, they can't actually play like a summoner, relying on them to tank hits or deal with foes. They resemble a melee class, almost, with their heavy critical emphasis and low range, but they don't have the durability of a Bulwark or the sustainable damage of a Berserker. And while they can fill most roles at various points(Room clearer, close range cannon, etc.), thanks to having issues with cooldowns across the board due to their combination of small skillset and moderate cooldown lengths on average(with the two 3 Cooldowns they have being niche), they don't excel at it like some other classes.

Basically they're the closest thing to a middle road in the game. I wouldn't call them extremely powerful, but they are very solid. I like 'em. :)
