How high do I have to go into the game before I have to use ANY Char and skill point

Allowed:
only the first 1 skill points to get mindlash
Any equipment
single point allowed for skill tree or additional rune slot
AM tree 1st level resolve as given for free
Curse tree 1st level as given free

Not allowed
using any more points

Current:
Dwarf lv 15 still in challange mode with 33 char points in hand
Defeted all starting hidy holes and starting the maze now
used the free slot to add a healing rune (45) for a quick boost when needed

Finding this challage doable at least till now, 1 death thru stupid speed in the trollmire but some nice equipment has been falling my way...

Are you allowing yourself escort rewards?

if they come, but generally other than unflinching resolve, they are used to boost stats, especially if I am heading for an AM character....

Having survived the maze with a bit of planning I died to a unique rouge in the tunnels... ah well better luck next time
