[b13] Wrap up: Haldor, Skeleton Archmage

My first win since the first few betas. Archmages are quite easy in b13... I managed to finish with almost maxed MAG/WIL/CON, over 100 Ranged Defense, Physical Save and Spell Save and over 80 Defense. Main attacks were Manathrust, Lightning and Chain Lightning + Inferno as AOE spell.

Didn't find a single staff of wizardry until the High Peak. My final weapon was a dragonbone staff of wizardry (+5 MAG, +6 WIL, +94 mana, +40 spellpower, +5% crits), better than any artifact in the game except the Awakened Staff of Absorption.

The final fight was a cakewalk:
- Time Prison on Alatar
- Stone Wall on Pallando
- Phase Door to the portals to close them
- dispatch the few summoned monsters
- Phase Door on Alatar and Pallando to put them to the northwest and northeast corners of the room
- Disperse Magic on Alatar and Pallando
- fight Pallando with Aeryn
- Stone Wall on Alatar when Time Prison wears off
- kill Pallando
- kill Alatar

However, I had to restart the final fight twice due to some bugs in b13:
- once for a Chain Lightning spell damaging Aeryn, making the fight a 3-on-one fight (this bug was supposed to be fixed, it is not...)
- once after a freeze due to Pallando casting an infinite zero damage loop spell on Aeryn (fixed in recent beta)

Some bugs/strangeness from my final dump:
- floating point values displayed for some abilities
- Limmir's Ring of the Moon is marked as "dropped by ghoulking"
- potion of cure disease is marked as "can be used to cure poison"
- duplicate Orb of Many Ways (Dropped by Golbug the Destroyer + Dropped by Tannen)
- duplicate Sting, Bilbo's Small Sword (from 2 distinct vaults)

Whatever their plan may be, they must be stopped at all cost.
The volcano is attacked by orcs, a few Sun Paladins made it there with you, they will hold the line at the cost of their lives to buy you some time.
Honor their sacrifice, do not let the orcs finish their work!
You arrived in time and interrupted the ritual, the blue wizards have departed.
Use the portal to go back to the Far East, you *MUST* stop them, no matter the cost.

Congrats on your first win!

I only played an archmage in the very early betas, and never explored the temporal realm. Time Prison sounds pretty broken though.

And is that a spare blood of life in your inventory? :mrgreen:

Blood of Life doesn't work for skeletons... so it remained in inventory :(
