this build was made possible mostly with the parasite in pocket add-on, and for getting tinkers as a first escort with select your escort add-on
i read a topic about the pros and cons of being a parasite and i thought about finding a class that can do well without headgear and having the parasite amulet, and i thought about the berserker, being able to cleanse some of the worst statuses with unflinching resolve, stun immunity via berserker, and offsetting the light and nature minus res with thick skin, the anti magic tree with resolve and antimagic shield, and the high base regen with bloodbath, also 2 of the parasite skills scale with con
i always played in normal but this guy made me go on nightmare and most of the game was a pushover, i died 3 times because i underestimated the bosses, but nothing too difficult as long as i played well enough to not die like an idiot.
the extra generic points gained with cornac and eating many character like escorts, melinda (really easy since you have 52+thick skin blight res), merchant and fillarel gave me a lot of freedom and the first parasite skill is a one point wonder that gave me a lot of get out situation against some tough enemies that arent instakill immune
on the bad side i didnt liked fungus as a tree, the turn gained wasnt much, and i feel that with harmony i woulda been able to offset the enemy healing problem and i coulda gained more global speed thanks to the fire damage that was quite common late game.
i took swift hands as the second prodigy and boy if i like it, i needed some damage reduction? psionic shield; some mobility? telekinetic leap; antimagic? that pillar that i dont remember which artifact or spellhunt remnants, the possibility are big.
i do recommend playing this character, and i hope you have fun like i did
