[1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
https://te4.org/characters/126735/tome/ ... 128055e44f
I streamed the whole run and you can watch it on my twitch: https://go.twitch.tv/mexte4/videos/highlight
Or if you would like to check out the final fight: https://go.twitch.tv/videos/185556990
Class is balanced.
Might write a guide up in the future but don't want everything to get nerfed...

Congrats, that's impressive.
What's causes effect that make you jump around like lightning rune? Elemental Surge? I can't see any buff effect for that.
Also smart use for Projection.

Late game fixed bosses have prodigies. I had Lucky Day on Lina's body which got transferred to my shade which is the body I used for the final part of the game.St_ranger_er wrote:Congrats, that's impressive.

Will explain further in the guide.

I watched about 10 minutes of the video and have so little idea of what's going on it's not even funny.

Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
What I want to know is how the heck you managed to get Invuln potion to last so long. You got Time Prisoned for more then 20 turns several times, but only lost a turn of the Invuln potion.
Also, you kept somehow using Aetherwalk to teleport to places that were outside of its maximum range? How did that work?

Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
Timed effects do not tick down while you are time prisoned (with some exceptions, like Time Prison)
Breaking Projection since 1.5

aetherwalk is currently bugged, it gives perfect tp at any range to any tile that you've explored iircArcvasti wrote:What I want to know is how the heck you managed to get Invuln potion to last so long. Ah, OK. It still lasted for a really long time, but that's probably just from Possessor ridiculousness with speeds.
Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
Also, as you can see in the video, Timeless works on the potion shield
Breaking Projection since 1.5
Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
I'd love to see a mex guide written for this! I'm so clueless as to how this was possible.
Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
Apparently Mex was pretty clueless himself and Ster had to tell him what to do every step of the way.
I write guides and make addons too now, apparently
You can go here for a compilation of everything I wrote, plus some other important stuff!
Includes general guides (inscriptions, zone, prodigies), and class guides (Demo, Anorithil, Bulwark, Zerker, Sblade)

Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
How did you get the mages to aggro on the riff raff that was coming out of the portals?
Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
If the dragons breathe on the mages, there’s a decent chance the mages will turn around and fight the dragons instead.

Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
Out of the 4 portals, only the dragons will fight with the sorcerors. Sometimes they will attack each other sometimes they won't, it depends on whether or not a dragon AoE'd the mage, or mage AoE'd dragon and if they were already targetting you or if you could reset their targetting by hiding. It's not easy to do on purpose.

Re: [1.5.x] [Madness] [Roguelike] Possessor
There's also a bug with dragons (and some other monsters, but dragons are the worst offenders) where extra little dragons that spawn with the big one have their faction set to Enemies as opposed to whatever the parent faction is of the main spawn. So some of the portal dragons will have the Enemies faction instead of Sorcerers faction and can start fighting each other over it. You can see some civil wars in the prides between the dragons over that.
Presumably that is supposed to happen with horrors in the Horror faction and regular enemies outside of specific faction zones, as opposed to being a bug there.
