The downside is that this character is taking forever to play. Everything is unique and over level 100 at this point (about to enter High Peak).
I have learned a couple of things on this run.
- Time Prison is absolutely necessary for preserving your escorts on Madness if you are not a tank. My first three did not stand a chance because I did not have this yet.
- Pacification Hex is actually useful if you have a high enough spell power.
- Attenuate can reach over 9000 damage per turn in long enough battles.
- The Black Set is pretty good for a spell caster who wants to run quickly. I had over 360 seconds remaining at the end of the charred scar.
- When everything is unique, you get an absolute fortune in gold and fortress energy.
