Yeees - my second winner. This berserk tried Anti Magic and it worked out fine - but I don't think I "actively" used AM. Actually I unlocked Fungus right before High Peak - I don't even know how to unlock it "for free" as I've read is possible.
Never missed magic - except teleport.

I god lucky with loot;
Wanderer's Rest (4 def, 0 armour) save my life several times... that teleport is a god sent for AM.
Garkul set was nice indeed.
Wyrm Bile was a late great find. Did not knew there was such a thing - how rare is it?
Glory of the Pride with its rush cool down -6 kept me rushing all the time. Like a mage with his beam!

I followed the Berserk guide in spoiler forum. Kept cool - fall back.. regeneration & movement infusion..
Did ~20 far portals when needed.

First char to make it in Charred Scar in time!! Movement infusion was the key.
The most dangerous was the final pride entry rooms! Died once or twice there.. they teleported me in and I was unable to get back to the stairs and escape. Really deadly rooms.
The other 3 prides were pretty easy.

Had lots of spare points in all categories when I headed to the peak. Flushed them on assorted skills - fungus one of them.

Final fight was not to bad. Died once when I was not checking my health. Otherwise a breeze. Ignored the summoning portals - kept wacking, regen etc.

Now I feel at a loss again.. what shall I do with my spare time... start over with... an archer?

Wyrm bile is guaranteed drop from that particular boss, every game. It's effects however, are not guaranteed. The cat point is a given, but which stats it raises and which it lowers are randomized. (It also raises/lowers BASE stats, which means if you drink it after maxing a stat at 60 (base), it might raise the base above the 60 point limit.

Try using magic characters! Much different from your berserker, or try toying around with adventurer class builds till you find something so overpowered that it breaks the game (again)!!

Or go do the infinite dungeon (I recommend doing so with the infinite500 addon, as it improves the experience notably.)

Or, after you've won a few times in adventure, step up to the plate with nightmare difficulty and try to unlock insane! (have fun with THAT.)

Don't touch roguelike though, only masochists play that.
