First winner: yeek summoner

#1 Post by loumnam »

Hi all!

Just a little post to tell you about my first winner, a yeek AM summoner.

About the build:
The build is pretty classic summoner AM, except for the following thing: I had meditation always on. The drawback of this is, of course, the halved damage. But this was not a problem at all: in any case, I just spam summons, and wait for enemies to die. It takes more time for enemies to die, but It was still worth it, because:
1) Telepathy:all. With earth eyes to 5, I got telepathy:all in a range of 6.
2) Nice boost to mental save: +42!
3) Healing factor + 32%. This was especially nice, because with my equipment, I got healed by a base of 80 per summon. Any summon, not just the turtle. With the healing factor, this was self heal of nearly 150 per summon!
4) Last, and most important, the equilibrium reduction. At level 5, It's 14 per turn. that's a lot. Nearly never had any equilibrium problem, and that's with anti-magic shield, elemental harmony, master summoner and psi-blades (got two alchemist escorts) activated, i.e. a base equilibrium of 88.

Other details:
Because I had a lot of equilibrium reduction, I put every equi sustain I could.
I didn't open fungus, because of lack of generic point.
I got two alchemist escort, and got psiblades to level 2 using that.
My tier 2 artifact mindstar, the great caller, was still the best I had till the end of the game. The second one was a good tier 5 mindstar, but the bonuses of the Great Caller are ... great.
My deaths: 3 in the sandworm lair because of lack of attention, one at the room of death because I didn't run away fast enough (still cleared it, though; wasn't even difficult), one at a High peak boss (I stupidly stayed in melee range, ended running from it) and one at the last fight.
+heal per summon is a great characteristic to stack. My totem gave meh bonuses, except for that +50 heal per summon. So I kept it.
Because of the 80 heal per summon, I had great zone heal. In the last fight, the sun palladin did not die, and did not even come close to it.
Mana clash is great.

That's all! Sometimes, I will try a wyrmic with meditation always on.

Great game to all!

I think you could ditch Heal infusion for Fungus. Last ability in Fungus can give spike heal and you could have Eq regen without Meditation.
