Well, having fun so far, though I feel vulnerable to ranged/distance attacks with only bone grab to help me.
Have lost 2 (un)lives so far, playing on Normal. First was below Lake Nur, a radiant horror hovering around the stairs down. could never have beaten him, so made the decision to go down and face Wretched(?) Beast will most resources already exhausted, knowing that after (un)death I'd respawn with everything full.
Had a close call in the Halfling Ruins 1st level. Way too open, and 4-5 archers and casters within range of me upon entering the 1st level, in addition to half a dozen soldiers/guards. Found out invisibility can indeed come in handy, and barely survived. Now I can play a Yeek! That Bone Claw was extremely handy saving the Wayist.
But, just lost another life in the Dark Crypt. Seriously, what's the point of this place except to die? Way too hard. Here's the starting position I got for the third level:

So, what to do. TP away and hope for a better position? Then again, with no movement enhancements I don't really have any chance of saving Miranda, so... bail while I can. High risk for little reward is an easy decision, really.
