and on a kill of the dang lightning king! been playing for a week, and for some reason I'm stuck on shadow thieves. Read greyfox's walkthrough and got some pointers, so this is the first character I've had over 15. Um, you can go over to te4.org and find my character, right? still all lightning resist equipped. Very nice to learn about the stat/skill progression (ie, at 4, 8, and 12, you want 20, 28, and 36 in your primaries.) I'm pretty spread out, but it works.

For the Ulkui... lightning guy, that displacement shield was the key. redirected back to him like 4/5 times. plus willed attacks, +100 accuracy, flurry, etc. was actually somewhat helpful that I found a level 3 stone of +1(+3) to all attributes in a vault on this level and turned it into a ring right before my final fight with this guy, raised my stamina and hp enough to get the job done. What a fight. like 12 times recalled back while clearing the level before finally deciding this is the time, I'm gonna bash this dude into a pulp right now! Lost a life early on sandwiched between an assassin and an ant after TP'ing away without enough resources in reserve, stupid, so on my absolute last life now.

Edit: hey, what the hell?!? My daggers are gone!!! Some kind of bug?
