First win! I tried to go for an archery-only build, supported by time talents for mobility and Haste. Stats were kind of all over the place and I think I could have handled this build a lot better but oh well. Asymmetric line of sight makes Pinning Shot way too good since with the right positioning; you basically get 8 turns worth of free shots, and in the end that's basically what I had to resort to. It was crazy how much harder the final fight was than everything else up to that point, but I suppose that makes for a satisfying climax.
I had 3 deaths, all of them in situations with tight quarters and nowhere to hide:
Weirdling Beast (600%speedruneyeahokay)
Grushnak guarded entrance, death could have been avoided if I stairscummed but I don't do that. I might start doing it now that stairscumming isn't so gamebreaking anymore.
High Peak final battle, before I figured out I could pillar dance

Re: [b36] Dwarf Temporal Warden
Congratulations! What advice would you offer to other Temporal Wardens? What talents did you find most useful?
Re: [b36] Dwarf Temporal Warden
Pinning Shot was my answer to all difficult single-target encounters, and Scatter Shot was good for crowds. The other attacks were mostly just fluff. All of the utility talents were fantastic, and were what made me choose Temporal Warden over Archer in the first place. Originally my plan was to use Celerity to have a staff with high +spell power that I could switch to whenever I used spells (most notably Swap, in order to confuse things that were stun immune), but in the end I ended up not having enough spell power to pierce through the saves of anything worth confusing. I think my problem was that I spread myself too thin: after maxing Dexterity I spread my points aimlessly around Strength, Magic, Wisdom, and Constitution. In hindsight I think I would rather have just ignored Wisdom once I had gotten enough for prereqs, and instead focused on either Strength to enhance my archery damage, or Magic so that my spell power-based spells were actually effective. The scaling on Quantum Feed and Strength of Purpose was not enough to really warrant pumping Wisdom instead of Strength/Magic directly, and Paradox failure rate was never a problem because you really only use your chronomancy active talents once in a blue moon.
