Playing a skeleton archer was pretty easy, though sometimes boring.
So..not too much to say. I basically did all zones - even the Mausoleum, the HARD way - EXCEPT the shadow crypt, and I only did one farportal.
I did make quite a few serious mistakes - the first one was forgetting to respec Sling mastery for +1 class point. Have to remember to do that at level 1 if I play archers again.
Lost some lives to carefulness/getting swarmed - two aganst the Master, one against a naga in the Temple(and that was pretty silly of me - I forgot to put a shield on and just bumped into it. ouch), at least one on the peak..
Vor Armoury wasn't TOO bad, although I did have to stairscum, as Warmaster Gnarg had a buddy with him..Kra'tor. the Gluttonous Fighting them both on the stairs took a lot of time.
Vor Pride proper was pretty hard on the other hand, at least compared to the other prides. Had to play a bit with stars with the boss, too, spawned basically there(in front of the gate to the rest of the level).
Also didn't spend the unused cat point before the last battle, and I dragged the Goedeleth rock(got it on peak 2, I think) around, forgetting to drop it before some battles, because I wanted to make a super amulet after I won(having forgotten I couldn't leave the peak anyway...plus getting vanilla voratun could have taken forever).
The penalties from it could have played a significant factor in my deaths to a nasty peak unique, a (runed?heavy?don't remember) bone giant with chronomancer talents and the ability to teleport to me if I fleed. That's the one peak unique I didn't kill and just skipped. Considering my previous near-win as a dwarf fighter was foiled by a bone giant unique, you can see why I did that.
As for the final battle itself - I rushed to close the portals soon, leaving Aeryn alone...eventually, she was fighting the melee wizard, and she was adjacent to the path of my arrows. I fired a few arrows at the wizard, and things were fine..until she stepped in the past of a steady shot...
Alas, poor Aeryn. Likely could have switched cloak after she was dead, though..but forgot that.
I did lose a life to the wizards, anyway, and had to reassemble - so at the end I had to rely on the Ring of the Dead.
Oh, and before anyone mentions it - yeah, that's a nice bow. +74% physical!

With Aim at 5/5, I could do some CRAZY damage.
Belt's a merchant randart too, and it's decent, though not as outstanding.
PS: Oh, for those wondering..I meant to name this character 'Rakir', after an archer character in the Elric books. Made a mistake though, and came up with this(which is apparently the name of a magic item in the Chronicles of Amber. Funny.)
