[b33] YAVP - Lich Necromancer (Roguelike)

This is my 2nd win. It was fun and somewhat easy game.

My necro curb-stomped every boss in the early game. I struggled against the Master, until I found out you can kill your own bunnies for guaranteed necro fuel. And I managed to beat the ambush without trouble. I started to get bored after reaching the east, so I didn't fully explore the dungeons.

Surprisingly, minion necros are powerful enough to defeat bosses on their own... I killed Siasul (sp?) and Linaniil without any help. Linaniil is pretty weak without that disruption shield to protect her. Maybe she should be buffed, since lore-wise she's supposedly one of the most powerful people in the world.

My necro easily crushed the orc prides, which was fun. I usually struggle to survive in those dungeons. Adventurer parties and orc patrols were also very easy with a necro. The jeweler quest gave me some trouble, since the only weakness a minion necro has is prolonged battles.

I rushed through High Peak by mapping the floors and teleporting the uniques away from the staircases. The final battle went smoothly. I closed the portals without getting hurt. The sun paladin died quickly and I ended up fighting both bosses at the same time. Pacification Hex is still very powerful. Elandar spent most of the battle either dazed or attacking summons, while I killed his partner. The rest of battle was spent chasing down the fleeing coward. :)

I saved Melinda and she moved in with me before I became a lich. Then, I killed her, because she doesn't do anything. Apparently, my lich felt bad and raised her from the dead after I won...

EDIT: Atamathon was the hardest enemy for my necromancer to defeat. He's an actual challenge now. :D

- A one-sided fight. The term comes from a brutal scene in American History X.
- An overly lengthy fight. When the game keeps sending wave after wave of monsters to kill you.
