Hiya all,
Hmm.... so a skeleton cannot use a health rune, but can die from a disease?
Since the runes are magic... as would be most skeletons... as are 'cast' diseases... does anyone else have thoughts here?
No heath rune is brutal. Dying from disease as a sack of bones is just confusing. lol

but in general i dont know what to think about it, undead already have bunch of resists( immunities ), so it would be good to let them have way of curing diseases via some generic racial talent.

You are likely to be eaten by a grue

Presumably the upcoming taints will have a way to deal with disease. As is, the best you can do early is pop shield runes, which block pretty much all damage, including disease, with some exceptions like curse of death, and hope you survive the experience (you probably won't).
The real option, really, is just to identify which creatures cause disease and run the blazes away from them until you've got the HP pool to tank a disease or two.
A bit further into the game, you've got a number of options. Healing wands/amulets can pull your HP back up from the damage and there's an artifact staff that cures disease and is fairly common. Swap-in HP regen items can offset the damage enough to be survivable. Blight res can cut the damage to the point of negligibility. Mindslayers have charged shield, which cuts some of the damage the diseases cause off the top. You might be able to pick up providence or the light tree after a bit, and use that for healing/debuff removal.
Sucks to run into a ghoulking coming up the blighted ruins, though. I've stopped opening vaults in there when I actually want to survive

Lol! That was/is my exact situation!Sucks to run into a ghoulking coming up the blighted ruins, though. I've stopped opening vaults in there when I actually want to survive
I just hate to not explore the game... especially the third level in the starting dungeon, because I cannot heal.
I definitely hear ya on the resists/immunities. I am not suggesting they be improved or expanded... I guess I am suggesting that healing runes magically work to repair bones as they do flesh.
I did read how one of the Ghoul abilities is to lay down a disease or contagion which would heal the player and any other undead caught in it's radius. So the game has an undead healing mechanism... perhaps a rune of it? Or...?
