Exotics
Say you want to use Legacy of the Naloren, or Trident of the Tides. Do you go through the entire game floating 3 points in weapon mastery? Do you float them at 3/5 or do you float them at 5/5 and accept the 2 lost points. Is there a way to avoid this? Supposing that you get a warrior escort in your first dungeon, is there any reliable way to use exotics? Yeeks and Celestials at least find tridents in their starting zones, but neither of them actually wants a trident (except maybe a Yeek Wyrmic). Apart from those starting zones and the item vault, is there a way to get exotic weapons in the West?

Re: Exotics
The Weapons Pack addon can optionally add random whips and tridents to the drop pool, plus includes spears as a new exotic type.
Re: Exotics
There's also another addon, Nulltweaks, that does the following:
changes Weapons Mastery to be a generic, nearly universal mastery talent, but at 0.8 effectiveness. No requirement but level.
Adds Agile Mastery - full effectiveness mastery of Knives and Whips; requires Dexterity.
Adds Greatweapon Mastery - full effectiveness mastery of Axes, Maces, Swords and Tridents; requires Strength. This talent is granted by the Warrior Escort and the prodigy Legacy of the Naloren in place of Exotic Weapons Mastery.
