Help please accidentally agro'd Angolwen

#1 Post by RodHull »

OK so first of all great game, really enjoying it!!

Secondly my first successful toon (archmage) I bought and tested ice storm in Angolwen and accidentally hit an NPC who then agro'd!! I didnt even know this was possible, I escaped but that archmage dude is camped inside the door and I have the quest from the female mage to complete inside (where she teleports you to Daikara) is there anyway of getting rid of the agro or is it a case of just putting it down to experience??

Put it down to experience I'm afraid. Those mages are pretty tetchy, and will likely make mincemeat of you... The quest isn't required to finish the game, so carry on regardless!

Beware that you may have trouble with such a massacre!

Hehehe... well, if you do try for it, take my advice and bring something that can give you an arcane damage ward with you. Just in case, y'ken

All I have to say to this thread is: challenge accepted. I never took out an entire town before, even when accidentally forgetting to swap in my cloak as an undead, so Angolwen will be my first. :)

One of the characters in Angolwen is reasonably difficult for an endgame character to drop.

Just thought I'd say that before you get shredded by a 1000+ damage arcane storm.

Though, granted, she was harder before Disruption Shield changed, I suspect. Maybe she needs a buff. <_<

Thanks for the warning. I'll be all sneaky and stay well out of her LOS. Also, I just unlocked the Godzilla summoning tree, so that should help.

Linaliil has no stun immunity and only a few thousand hp, which actually makes her laughably easy. I always slaughter everyone in Angolwen after Dreadfell because sometimes they can drop nice artifacts. There's no danger, and no reason not to except for roleplay reasons.
