Is there a way to give myself an item by editing something?

I'm at my second trip to the bottom of reknor to get the diamond and athame for Tannen, but the monster that's supposed to drop them is simply not there.... This will end my game if I can't fix it; is there something I can edit in my save file to give myself the blood runed athame and diamond?

It may be in the hidden room to the south-east, try digging to there first. If that doesn't work, activate cheat mode, and there is a menu option (IIRC).

He was indeed in that hidden room... I went back and found it by pushing along the wall with probability travel on Thanks for the heads up!
