Return to the Maze

#1 Post by bricks »

Does the Maze have a new boss when returning from the Far East? I saw some dialogue in a town that suggested so, but when I went back, all I got was a "terrified" level feeling when entering level 5. I must have looked back over the place a dozen times. I suppose that the new boss could be on an earlier level... Not to sound lazy, but that could take quite a while to search!
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).

i just use the minimap, pointing your destination on it you can re-explore a level quite fast

I just made a page on the wiki telling what zones and levels have 'backup guardians', unless I'm missing something, the maze one, Nimisil, should be on level two. Here's the page:

i guess their levels scale with yours partially, at least that orc dragonslayer i killed yesterday definitely was 50+, not 45

also old forest one was named 'sharproot', not 'snaproot', but i am not sure, i was sleepy :3

Looking at the code again, he's definitely called Snaproot; but I wasn't sure about how to parse the levels exactly, so thanks for the info on that. I think the discrepancy may have something to do with the 'autolevel' setting, but I'm not sure. Oh well, at least the locations are there. :)
