Strangely the quest works for any character (even dwarves and female characters...), except undead.
I suppose you can come back once you win the game and propose her to marry you, but I didn't win yet to tell you if it's implemented...

In b18, it says something like, 'She seems to have a crush on you, even though you're female..."

Also, finishing off the main storyline doesn't allow this to progress, so I'm going to say that it's just not implemented yet.

darkgod shouldn't be afraid of allow that "promiscuous" relationships. Even popular Sims and Mass Effect allow that stuff! :D

Oh, that's what comes up in the log. You still get the option to feel her belly and give her a kiss in conversation.

I did already that mission but was some betas ago! Can't remember how it was but that is now so unrealistic and LAME! ;D
They live in harsh evil times with loots of blood and violence. Probably as in some dark age or medieval age Melinda would end raped as pay for the "service". lol

I rather got the impression that such an act had already happened...

My current dwarf rescued Melinda... I thought it was funny to get the same message.
But considering that the current king in Last Hope has a human father and a halfling mother, why not a half-dwarf?

Being in a fantasy setting does not mean it's the same thing as earth's medieval times :)
[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

Sure, sure, in this "friendly" fantasy setting they only believe in gods and adore demons and fight in their name, everyone can be killed easily at anytime with spells, beasts or devastating weapons (and usually some die in "colateral" damage). Oh well, horror, death and terror is behind each corner. I'm sure in a world like this everyone are ethical and have a straight moral. You right darkgod, probably constant violence here would be much worst than our medieval times. :D

Gandolfo wrote:Considering how the Dark Ages were full of death and mayhem in the west anyway in our history I can't see how any fantasy violence could possibly measure up. I mean we are talking genocide, pogroms, inquisitions, massacres, etc. And that was just the daily grind.
Well, don't underestimate the stupidity and greediness of human kind. I'm sure that humanity with "fantasy" power destruction would put dark ages so apocalyptical that probably mankind wouldn't reach our days. Just see our days in our "civilized" era. We still kill and do war in gods name, make genocides, rape and all other monstrous acts (like Ruanda ou even Servian-Bosnian wars as example).

BTW got Melinda Lucky Girl Quest. Peeked quest script. It's a shame that all such trouble flirting her in her dad's home we can't do anything more.

Interesting note with this quest: if you can manage to do Mark of the Spellblaze first, the elf faction is friendly to both you and Melinda. It makes it *much* easier.

That's interesting. Thanks for pointing. However we lost in that way a lot of potential XP right?

Anyway will be sad end the game with Melinda quest unfinished. :/
