Slime potion

#1 Post by Jaorin »

Has anyone found an affect with the slime potion? Does it give you special powers like the old one was supposed to do? I never saw this myself in 2.x.

Yes it does!

Keep on drinking them until you get that message!

Anyone done this successfully? I drink every slime potion I find and I've never had anything other than the 'yuck' message.

Does anyone know the chance of success?

Happened for me...

You have to get a lot of "Yucks" (not sure how many) before you succeed.

the least amount of yucks I have seen is two, got it on my second try (twice, that is with 2 different chars).

generally though they are not worth getting, but with wilders that acidic skin makes them even cheesier :)

For every potion you drink you have a 1/100 chance to get an affinity for slime.

So theoretically 1 slime mold juice is enough. Or infinity could be not enough.

When it happens it only opens up a new category of skills, nothing in itself actually changes to you. You have to spend the skill points (and category points) to obtain the skills.
