Small question on organ eating

Namely, what happens if a character without innate equilibrium (Arcane Blade, in this case) gets a hold of equilibrium using skills (the sand drake aspect stuff)? I'd like to know if it's going to implode/be useless before wasting a talent category point on it, considering the points are so rare.

Once you gain a talent that requires a ressoruce you do not posses, you automatically get the ressource.
So you'll get equilibrium.
