Re: Last Hope Graveyard
There are reasons to be a Ghoul Necromancer; it's basically the only way to heal your minions. I do think it would be nice if undead got a benefit for the Lichform quest, though. Access to Celestial/Starfury at the least.
<Ferret> The Spellblaze was like a nuclear disaster apparently: ammo became the "real" currency.
Re: Last Hope Graveyard
Yeh, I was also new to the quest, since I haven't played since b34, and entered with my lvl 19 character too. Big mistake.
As greedy as I am, I opened every grave, got really good drops from the bosses that spawned, saw no curse nor artifact (except a drop from a boss) but the very last grave spawned an incredibly strong Vampire that kicked my ass.
As a sidenote, something bugs me about the Lore found in the room before entering the dungeon.
I took the time to check every grave before entering the mausoleum and I thought that you'd probably have to recall the epitaphs to certain bosses you'd meet downstairs, considering a couple of them said something about how the poor guys died and found their demise. Sadly I just got into random bosses and couldn't get any help from the lore I just collected.
It could be something interesting to get info about the bosses stats by the lore in the graves, rather than from the 'l'ook tooltip.
Imagine that by entering the mausoleum your sight gets "blinded by a grim and stenched blackness, you can recognise walls and doors, but everything else seems blurred by dark powers", and when you meet a boss you can't see anything in it's tooltip, but it's name and HP, everything else should be deduced from the obituaries.

On that note, without spoiling anything, do all of the grave lores have stories/injokes behind them or is it just some? I understood a couple (the Annei Caffrey one made me smile) but a lot of them meant very little to me. Just very obscure?
Re: Last Hope Graveyard
Most have some reference, but other are just made up, and some of the references are immensely obscure :P I'm glad someone's spotted at least one though!
escargot: The obituaries don't relate to the bosses at all. They're for graves on the surface - the crypt contains different burials.
