fun little heart attack
So I just had an impending doom moment that turned out to be nothing. Was resting on my archmage in the spider caves and all of a sudden something starts tunneling across the map right at me. Naturally I assume its a black reaver and start hammering at my keyboard to interrupt rest while at the same time my adrenal gland squirted some interesting chemicals into my bloodstream and my heart rate tripled. Of course I completely miss my esc key and about half a second later a Xorn popped out of the wall. I killed it in 1 round. GG ToME I'm gonna go take a breather.

Ha! T4 needs more moments like this. Bring on the Black Reavers and Great Wyrms of Power!

The spider quest as a whole is quite a shock after pottering around pre-portal, especially limited to Gear of the West at that stage - anyone who survives their first visit, chapeau ! ... now even moreso, if there's been a couple of ambushes since getting off the boat - "oh right, so it's just going to be more orcs then" - umm no, not entirely
OT ... thanks for cutting back the sand damage - now can choose to go there earlier while the other aspects are an interesting challenge, rather than waiting until 5-600 HP to avoid sudden death. A while ago early in the Old Forest there was this yellow 'w' which seemed unwilling to die from small bruises, realized just in time that it was a sandworm destroyer, passing through on their autumn migration to Near Harad - that sudden death would have been the deserved variety.
