Lvl 23 Master Vampire in the Trollshaws... in consecutive games. The first time was with a lvl 2 Anorithil coming around a corner, and the end was pretty quick. The second run through I was a lvl 4 Anorithil with across a clearing and managed to kill him just as he closed. Revenge!

Lvl 25 Orc Necromancer in Trollshaws(4). Fried bot me and my escorted npc.

Orc Pyromancer on Trollshaws(3). Didn't see what level it was because he one-shot me

I found a level 20 anaconda (I think, it was an elite snake) in the trollshaws. Didn't even realize what it was until it killed my golem in 2 hits.

Pretty sure that's out of depth, even though snakes do normally show up there.

Anaconda is unique though I think him being level 20 in the Trollshaws may mean he was generated as an OOD monster (I don't think I've ever seen his level up that high).

Encountered an identical one (lvl 20 Anaconda, unique) somewhere in Trollshaws, so maybe it's not that casual.

Looking at the code the lowest level Anaconda can be generated with is level 20.

I've recently ran into a couple myself.

A Snow Giant Chief at level 3 of Amon Sul with 2 Boulder Throwers and a Thunderer as escorts.

Also a lvl 35 Urak Hai Berserker at Trollshaws level 5 generated right next to the stairs. Thank DG for long hallways and phase door teleport other....

Level 24 Multi-hued drake on trollshaws(3). Ow. Thank god for scrolls of phase door, though now I've no clue how I'm going to get out again as kind ol' Bill forgot to give me another scroll to get by it on my way out.

I found the lvl 23 Master Vamp in Trollshaws 1 with my lvl 2 Nandor pyro. I managed to win and got absolutely nothing for it. He was actually much easier than Bill.

Wouldn't it be possible to restrict OODishness somewhat? Maybe like +10-15 levels (and anything that has a minimum level above that is impossible).

Though it's beta11b and not beta10 anymore: I just met a funny little lvl30 naga myrmidon with 750hp in the old forest (lvl5). Yikes.
