This was my first character to get to the east, a mage following Lord Dimwit's old tenet of "HP above all else", and it worked splendidly. With the sun paladin unlock beckoning and the horror stories I had heard about the orc prides, I was seriously at defcon one as far as caution was concerned. But with the paladin unlocked and Vor Pride subdued with little danger, I got sloppy, and sent my unspoilt Lalz to the valley of the moon... where she got two lifes of blood stamped out of her by demons in rapid succession. Oh well.

Now that ToME4 is in a nice running state (still in beta, but stable and good fun to play), I wonder if Dimwitt will come back eventually.
