Do you need to choose a particular Prodigy to reassemble the staff? One of the Prodigies talks about something like that.

Most likely you just have bad luck. Imo staff drops always seem to be on the low end of drops.

A bit of thread necromancy, but anyway to say I found the staff again at long last. The issue seems to be that I had started to go east at an early level, before it turns up - now with the master laughing at a traditional cowardly strategy, levelled up for longer in the west before even trying to fight him - ben, dis donc, staff trouvé !

Yeah, i've been wanting to write an addon that would allow you to give Tarelion his staff back. ... i'm just lowkey bad at writing code xD
