I thought alchemist was ridiculously easy on normal/adventure- basically a free win. It's Archmage For Dummies: just spam bombs; there's little to it. This is kind of a late reply but I just saw this post, where are you basing this info on? I checked your chars and didn't see a AB, AM, or Necro insane win. Arcane Blade's early game is pretty bad, so is archmage's (although a cornac can go both arcane & wildfire while dealing respectable damage) after the t1's. Why do you say they're S tier? http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=42608 Most people consider this the "official" tier list and it lists those classes as tier A with the ONLY reason being "they might be able to complete madness". Every class can win insane currently which shows how perfectly balanced the game is in this patch. Necromancer and Arcane Blade are two of the strongest classes in the game. Necromancer has great defense in the form of Sacrifice, and Arcane Blade has Aegis, Stone Wall, and excellent damage. When people say Arcane Blade's early game is "bad," they're usually comparing it to Archmage. Everything that isn't Archmage is bad compared to Archmage. Their early game is still good compared to classes that aren't S tier.
