Stone Warden Unlock
Is there an easy way i'm missing to reunlock this class. It seems like the only way to unlock it is to play a wilder and hope to get lucky enough to roll an alchemist or anorithil escort, or to play a mage and then invest a huge amount into some kind of sandworm thing. Either way i'm 100% throwing away a run to do this, so i have been trying the wyrmic over and over again trying to get a random escort and just get it that way, and no anorithil or alchemist would spawn (except one ultra bugged out anorithil once which is even more annoying). it is super obnoxious that to play the class i want to play and that i HAVE been playing with, i have to play a narrow list of classes i don't want to play over and over again and until the game decides i'm lucky enough to be allowed to play the class, when those of us who donated, especially those who donated SPECIFICALLY FOR THAT CLASS, should never had to reunlock it IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Re: Stone Warden Unlock
If you're that pissed off by it, just use the ignore class/race unlocks addon.
A little bit of a starters guide written by yours truly here.

Re: Stone Warden Unlock
You could pick up Staff Combat, which should count. Probably not a stellar build, but who knows.
If you have the DLC and unlocked the Undead Drake tree there you can get it that way. It's not super fun, in my opinion, but it's at least consistent if you want to unlock it just with the tools you get in-game.
If you want to cheat a little, but less than by just ignoring the lock, you could get one of the addons that let you choose your escorts and pick up Light. (Whether this is better or worse than just rolling an adventurer is probably a matter of personal opinion.) This still requires actually playing the game and surviving the dwarven start, so there's some effort involved.

Re: Stone Warden Unlock
There's an unlock you can get at the end of orcs campaign that makes it really easy with a wyrmic.
Re: Stone Warden Unlock
Dwarf Summoner with Staff combat can unlock Summoner by lvl 13-14 iirc.
Re: Stone Warden Unlock
I hope I'm not necro-ing this post (or if I am, it's still okay), but the way I finally managed to unlock the Stone Warden is to have my Dwarf Archmage eat the Sandworm Queen's Heart. The only surefire way (but a bit boring if I may add) to unlock this class by level 12 -ish..
Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure the wiki mentioned that my Dwarf should have at least 10 points in Spell (category) AND 10 points in Wild-gift (category), but somehow the Stone Warden unlocked when my Dwarf only have 9 points in Wild-gift.. was it a bug or was I just lucky?
PS: from what I gathered, this class was the previous (original?) reward for a donator, instead of the Possessor class?

Re: Stone Warden Unlock
If you've won the game before, an adventurer can unlock stone warden by level 5.
I think someone mentionned that rune/infusion count toward the number of points required, maybe that's why you needed only 9?
And yes, stone warden used to be a donator perk before possessor existed.

I write guides and make addons too now, apparently
You can go here for a compilation of everything I wrote, plus some other important stuff!
Includes general guides (inscriptions, zone, prodigies), and class guides (Demo, Anorithil, Bulwark, Zerker, Sblade)

I haven't.. hence my longer route with Archmage..Cathbald wrote:If you've won the game before, an adventurer can unlock stone warden by level 5.

Possible.. he does have a Wild and a Regen infusion on him.. maybe one or both counted for the Wild-gift..Cathbald wrote:I think someone mentionned that rune/infusion count toward the number of points required, maybe that's why you needed only 9?
Ah, hence the somewhat confusing thread I read in the Steam forum.. Thanks Cathbald.Cathbald wrote:And yes, stone warden used to be a donator perk before possessor existed.
