What's the deal with these gauntlets?
It says in the description that they can be used to "destroy an arcane item". It seems to destroy only arcane artifacts, and not all of them - for example skullcleaver, prox's lucky halfling foot and bloodletting mail, all tagged 'arcane', do not qualify. Go figure..

Re: Spellhunt remnants
The tier of the artifact has to be higher than the current tier of the gloves. When you destroy the artifact your gloves will level up. The gloves can skip tiers.laru wrote:What's the deal with these gauntlets?

Re: Spellhunt remnants
Ok, that explains it, thanks. I guess they get pretty powerful at tier 5? And yes, it was probably a good idea to change the description, it's a bit too vague as it is now.
Re: Spellhunt remnants
The description should probably be updated to specify *unique* arcane-powered artifacts, since that seems to be all it'll accept. It sounds (from another thread) like it receives quite a big improvement from T4 to T5 and it becomes a real mage-killer, which is good to know
