Problem in a southern cave

Hi

Im back east.
I managed to clear 3 lvls of Vor when I get a telepatic message.
I should hasten south to the desert to find a staff.
I find a cave and I clear a couple of lvlvs when I suddenly see sunpaladins protecting me from orcs.
There is a time glas with 550 (or so) moves.
Hovering the mouse over the timeglass it says I should hasten south.
I do. I kill several dragons, small medium and wyrms.
I kill faeros of various size.
And time ticks.

Now I have 135 moves left and I wonder what will happen?
Am I screwed?
Or will there be an encounter soon?

Pls spoil me.
