East zone order?

#1 Post by Un67 »

Does anyone mind suggesting me an order for zones in the East? So far, on my Higher Alchemist I've finished the Unremarkable Cave, the spider cave I can't spell the name of, and the Orc Breeding Pit. I'm thinking maybe doing the Vor Armory, and Briagh's Lair so I can get back to the West and clear out the backup guardians, before coming back and then doing... something. That's probably where I need suggestions.

Also, when should I do the flooded cave? The only piece of water breathing gear I have right now is an iron helm, and I'm not sure if I want to tangle with nagas.

I do Flooded Cave after Ardhungol(spiders), usually, assuming I have water breathing(never do it without that).

You'll want to go back west, after that, yes. After you come back east, I suppose you could do the Dark Crypt(I prefer not to do it at all, but it's doable for the most part), but mostly the next thing to do after you go back East is the Prides.

I prefer to do Vor first for the most part; It's class dependent, but it's a good first for an Alchemist anyways.

Ardhungol, Flooded Cave(bring your breathing underwater gear.), Vor's Armory, Briagh's Lair, return to maj'eyal.

Come back, then explore dark crypt, Vor's Pride, Eruan, Prides left (suggested order: Rak'Shor, Gorbat, Grushnak), Slime tunnel, High peak.

Dark Crypt is better to enter early - the first two floors are easy xp, and in the worst case scenario you can activate the RoR prior to battering the boss, force him to summon the other boss and then yoink the hell out of dodge and come back later to clean house.

Wait, what?!

Oh, you meant the Shadow Crypt. The Dark Crypt is where you find Melinda.

The shadow crypt issue was moot, anyways, thanks to the bone shield bug. I'm currently through all of the Prides except Grushnak, thanks for the advice, everyone.

Just for your info, I faced the same issue. But upon casting Disperse Magic to dispel the Rak'Shor cultist's bone shield sustain, a few moments later he did summon my doomed shade.

But DG has already mentioned this bug has been fixed in the latest code...
